Kathy Tabor Obituary
Kathy was the co-founder of the A.L.I.V.E. Animal Services Group in Princeton. She was a dedicated animal advocate who served the community and the animals who were at risk, neglected, abused or injured. She was a proponent of spay and neuter ordinances aimed to help curb the overpopulation of animals, resulting in unwanted litters and euthanasia.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Steve Tabor; and special friend, Leisa Moten of Pipestem.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2024 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Larry Dyer and Rev. Blake Bivens officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to A.L.I.V.E. Animal Services Group, P.O. Box 5464, Princeton, WV 24740.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 16, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.bailey-kirk.com.
