Kathy Wilkinson Obituary
Mary Katherine “Kathy” Wilkinson age 42 of Ferrum passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Wilkinson; and her stepfather, Steve Ferguson.
Kathy was an outgoing people friendly person who loved life. She never met a stranger and was always giving of herself. She would go out to eat and if a policeman was there, she would pay for their meal as a way of saying thank you. She was a sweet person and loved her pets unconditionally. She will be missed and always loved by those who were in her life.
She is survived by her mother, Debby Ferguson; brother, Ben Wilkinson; sister-in-law, Michelle Wilkinson; nieces and nephews, Riley Wilkinson, Sean Hodges, Kathryn Wilkinson, and Kayleigh Wilkinson; aunts and uncles, Susan Murillo, Doug Anderson, Jan Sowers, Billy and Sherry Shively. She is also survived by her cousins, Sherri Bryson and Janet Schwarz; other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastors Terry Covey and Billy Shively officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
