Kathy Ann Woods, age 70 of McGehee, Arkansas, passed away October 29, 2025. She was born December 27, 1954, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri to the late John Heffner and Earline Catherine Tomason.

Kathy was a teacher at CB King School and attended First Assembly of God in McGehee. Kathy loved going to yard sales, making crafts and making wreaths. She loved spending time with her family and friends and doing outings with her students and coworkers. She loved her yorkies, Henry, Lexie and Porsche.

She is survived by her Husband Rick Woods of McGehee, Arkansas, her Sons Jerry Woods and Shane (Ginger) Woods of McGehee, Arkansas, her Daughters Stacey (William) Plunket of Watson, Arkansas; Phoebe Woods of McGehee, Arkansas; Brianna Woods of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and Shyanne Woods of Stuttgart, Arkansas, her Brothers, James Heffner of Cincinnati, Arkansas; Wayne Heffner, Jerry Heffner both of Coos Bay, Oregon; Ronald Heffner of Freeport, Illinois; Bill Heffner of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, One sister Margie Heffner of Pine Bluff, Arkansas and her Grandchildren, Zachary Woods, Dakota Woods, Austin Woods and Levi Woods.

A visitation will be held at Griffin Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee, Arkansas from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Friday, October 31, 2025. A Funeral Service will take place at McGehee Assembly of God Church on November 1, 2025 at 2:00pm with Reverend Randy Mann officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Cemetery in Winchester, Arkansas. Arrangements made by Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service of McGehee, Arkansas.
