Mrs. Kathy Dianne Wright, age 70, of McEwen, Tennessee, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at her home . Mrs. Wright was born on August 8, 1952 in Waverly, TN to Robert Howard Moran and Betty Sue Little Moran. Kathy was a Manager for Little General for many years before she retired. Kathy would give her last penny to a stranger. She was a beautiful person inside and out and would be a friend to anyone who would allow her to be. She loved gardening, soap operas, and helping anyone she could, but above all, what she loved the most, was her family. They were her everything and spending time with them was her most favorite hobby of all.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Billy Wright of McEwen, TN; her mother, Betty Sue Moran of McEwen, TN; two sons, Timothy "Timmy" Hunt (Cara) of McEwen and Scott Hunt (Taffany Carman) of Waverly, TN; four granddaughters, Brandy Michelle Hunt, Emily Renee Hunt, Maddie Hunt, and Kimberly Carman; and her best friend in the whole wide world, more like a sister, Shelia Autenried.
She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Howard Moran and her brother, Ricky Moran.
Visitation for Kathy will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home in McEwen and on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 9:00AM until service time beginning at 12:00PM. Interment will follow at Few Chapel Cemetery in McEwen.
The mountain will still be there
When you want to try again
You can climb it in your own time
Just love yourself 'til then.
