Kathy Zumbrun Obituary
Kathy Sue Zumbrun, age 67, of Huntington, IN, died on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.
Kathy was born on April 18, 1958, in Huntington, IN, to the late Ray and Dorothy (Mason) Bittner. She married David DEWayne Zumbrun just one year ago on October 19, 2024.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.

Kathy always had a smile on her face. She was a breath of fresh air at Bingo at the HCCOA & any bingo game she went to. We will all miss her so much.

She was such an example of resilience and hope to me. I will never forget walking with her to church and hearing her sweet laugh all along the way. She had the most beautiful smile and she radiated pure light and love. Thinking now, she was the most accurate example of Christ in my life. I´m so glad she is with Him now, but know she is missed by her husband, family, and friends. I remember her always gushing over Ella and showing us pictures of her, and how proud she was of her son, and how much she loved them. And how appreciative she was of her brothers support in many different ways. Sending love to you Brother Zumbrun and can´t help but cry happy and sad tears knowing she passed the day after your first anniversary. You two were so sweet together... Thank you Kathy for being you.

We feel honored to have known Kathy. She was a special person and could always make you feel loved. She had such a contagious laugh and a twinkle in her eye.
