Katie Combs Obituary
Funeral Service for Katie Combs, 69, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.
She was born on November 23, 1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Zella Ann (Kreager) Groene and Elmer Wray Combs and passed away on September 22, 2025 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors are sister, Waynette Edwards of Sallisaw, OK; three nieces, Sonya Morgan and Tommy of Sallisaw, OK, Melinda Alcantara of Belle, MO, and Marcy Bazzle of Bartlesville, OK; three nephews, Mike Edwards of Sallisaw, OK, David Edwards and Racheal of Tulsa, OK, and Danny Combs and Michelle of Mounds, OK; and numerous great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; brother, Leonard "Buster" Wray Combs; and one nephew, Steve Baker.
Viewing will be 10 AM - 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
