Katie Evers Obituary
Katie Lou Evers was born to Leroy and Katie Chaney Kent in Delta City, MS on August 10th, 1943. She was Baptist in faith and a member of Southside Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Greenville and a Clerk at Washington County Health Department for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Kat Kent as well as five sisters: Mary Elizabeth Cooper, Sarah Lee Cooper, Betty White, Lillian Vineyard, and Annie Tharp.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband: Charles Evers of Greenville, MS, her son: Lee Evers of New Orleans, LA, a sister: Jean Bland, and a granddaughter: Harper Anne Evers of Jackson, MS.
Donations in her memory can be made to Southside Baptist Church (137 W. Reed Road Greenville, MS 38701).
