KATRINA MARIE DEES
JUNE 21, 1972 - SEPTEMBER 3, 2024
Katrina Marie Dees was born June 21, 1972. She departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the age of fifty-two.
Katrina attended John L. LeFlore High School and was a proud graduate of the graduating Class of 1992. She served her country and joined the United States Army in 1994. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant, Security Worker with the Regional Airport and United States Coast Guard Base; and Correction Officer at Mobile County Sheriff Department at Metro Jail.
Katrina accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was a member of Sweet Pilgrim Baptist Church.
Katrina loved spending time with family and friends. She loved traveling and spending quality time with his grandson.
She was preceded in death by her devoted aunt, Doretha Snowman; her father, Tony Cunningham; uncle, Charles Allen; and cousins: Betty Junes, Vanessa Brinley and Patricia Brookins.
Katrina leaves to cherish her precious memories, her two children: DéAdrianne Brookins and Michael Dees; one grandson, Condyn Brookins all of Mobile, AL; her loving mother, Lillian Cunningham of Mobile, AL; one devoted sister, Hazel Brookins of Mobile, AL; two aunts: Johnnie Mae Allen and Joy Ann Liddell both of Mobile, AL. She was blessed with one loving nephew, Malachi Hayles; a host of cousins, other relatives, extended family and friends; one devoted friend, Cornelius Walker; two great friends: Rosalyn Shoemaker and Joycelyn Coleman.
Katrina will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
