Katrina "Trina" Lynn Barthelemy Swift, 54, of Leesburg stepped into Heaven on March 10, 2025. She was affectionately known as “Chee Chee” by her family and close friends. A celebration of life service honoring her will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 10:30 am. at Hope City United Church in Albany, GA. Rev. Trent Corey and Keisha Corey will officiate.
Trina was born in Albany, Georgia on April 19, 1970. Trina graduated from Dougherty High School in 1988. She resided in Lee County. She grew up in Albany, Georgia where she met her husband of 20 years, Scott Swift. Trina is preceded in death by her father, Donald W. Barthelemy, Sr., her grandfathers - Wilbur Cecil “Judge” Fowler and Benois Barthelemy, and her grandmothers - Juanita Fowler Hall and Inez Nelms Barthelemy. She was employed in the medical field in the Albany/Leesburg area, but motherhood and grand motherhood were her primary roles. She enjoyed going to church, decorating her house, taking care of those she loved, cooking, painting, reading, cruising on the creek, going to the beach, and socializing. She dressed impeccably and loved to shop. She loved Jesus and worshiped Him with her beautiful voice and humble spirit. Mrs. Swift was a member of Sunnyside Baptist in her youth and most recently Hope City United Church in Albany, GA.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Scott Swift, her children, two daughters - Amber Lyne Doyal (Gil) and Haylee Brooke Swift all of Lee County, her mother - Pamela Fowler Barthelemy of Lee County, a sister - Kim Barthelemy Goodson of Lee County (Jeff “Bo”), and a brother - Donald W. Barthelemy Jr. (Jennifer) of Cincinnati, Ohio, She had four grandsons - Jaxson Connor Doyal, Leland Jeffers Doyal, Waylen Mark Cook, and Wesley Scott Cook.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the church.
Flowers are welcome and may be delivered to the church Saturday at 9:00 a.m. or donations may be made to the building fund (We Build Hope) at Hope City United Church, 1211 Stuart Ave., Albany, GA., 31707
