Kay V. Burroughs

Sorry for your loss. Kay hired me at WTM on August 28, 1978, when her office was on 3rd street, and for that I will always be thankful. RIP Kay..

My deepest sympathy to the Burroughs' family. Kay hired me at WTM back in 1979. I had a lot of great co workers and also made a lot of life long friends. This would not have been possible if Kay never gave me a chance.
She was an awesome person. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

I knew Kay. And also her brother Howard. I´m so sorry for the family loss. I did not know about Howard´s passing I´m sad to hear that. I knew them through my sister dolly. God bless. Sandy Vanden hoogen

The sweetest neighbor one could ever ask for. We had just moved in our place in April and she was the first to welcome us. My oldest son would help her out when needed. I would always joke with her there's a leaf on your lawn or oh look a weed. Ksy-you had told me if the light on the outside porch area n garage you needed help or something is wrong. We'll the light was on so sent my husband n he was told you passed. Please watch over your family n run the streets of gold. You're greatly missed. Keep those lawns cut, n free of weeds n leaves.

Kay was always fun to talk to. No filter, just all Kay. She was also a wonderful inspiration to me. Loved her yard work. Knee pads on grooming the base of all her trees. Her yard, always amazing. I would kid her and ask. "Kay? Have you ever just layed in the grass to watch the sky"?
She would always kid me about my green thumb and I would say, "Kay, your flower boxes always look so beautiful so don't tell me you don't have a green thimb". She would laugh and tell me they were fake flowers she had done. OK, you have a wonderful silk thumb.
She was a wonderful neighbor that I miss so much!
