Kay Drake Obituary

She is survived by her sons, Troy Alan Drake, Sr. and his children, Troy "Tad" Allen Drake, II, Summer Drake, and Brandy England, and great-grandchild, Brennan Drake; Dennis Sean Drake (Beth Ann) and their children, Hunter Drake, Brianna Drake and Blake Herman; and Heath Lovell Drake and his children, Marylann Leigh Drake and Taylor Drake and a host of extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Dudley and Mary Ida (Ragan) Lovell; brother, John Dudley Lovell, II and twin sister, Fay Lovell Louallen.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham, LLC in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 1pm to 7pm and on Wednesday from 11am until service hour of 1pm.
Serving as pallbearers will be Aubrey Louallen, Preston Louallen, Ernie Louallen, Hunter Drake, J.D. Lovell, Tad Drake and Blake Herman. Cheatham County Funeral Home LLC 615-792-2552 online condolences may be made at cheathamcountyfh.com.

I have only known you two years, Kay, since I moved into Vantage Pointe Village, but what a wonderful two years I have had knowing you. We became friends very quickly, a good friendship that lasted even after you left. We had many breakfasts and lunches, and many more times with you taking me to doctor´s appointments because at 84 I could never get use to driving in Nashville. I don´t know what I would have done without you. We were alike in so many ways and we could always find something to laugh about. You texted me on Thanksgiving evening to tell me what a great day and meal you had, but you were exhausted. My last text from you. However, I will be there before too long, and we will continue it there. I love you, Kay, and can´t even express how much I will miss you, my friend. Thanks for all your goodnesses to me.
