Kay Elizabeth Fall, 84 of North Port, FL and formerly of Earlville Rd., Chateaugay, NY passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's/Dementia.
Born on December 27, 1940, in Chateaugay, NY to the late J. Kenneth Earl and Bernice (McClatchie) Earl.
Kay was a proud graduate of Chateaugay Central School in 1960. She married her beloved Ken "Kenny" Fall on December 27, 1960, at the United Methodist Church in Chateaugay, NY. Their union spanned 55 years full of love and a strong partnership.
Kay moved to Tacoma, Washington to join Kenny who was stationed at the US Army base – Ft. Lewis. Upon their return to Chateaugay she worked for McCadam Cheese Company. Joining Key Bank formerly Farmers National Bank in May 1968 as a teller. During her banking career she was promoted several times retiring in 2003 as Key Bank Administrative Officer.
She always had a smile or kind words for everyone. Kay enjoyed working alongside Kenny in their vegetable garden, pumpkin patch, Christmas tree farm and especially spending time with family and friends.
Kay was a member of the Alice Hyde Hospital Auxiliary, a member of the Chateaugay United Methodist Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #875. She was a proud member of the Earlville Guild.
Kay is survived by her daughter Terri (Fall) Chase and her husband Stephen of North Port, FL; three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Judy Earl, Jean Fall, Michelle and Marvin Montgomery and Jim Palmer all of Chateaugay, and many nieces and nephews.
Kay was predeceased by her husband Kenny on January 29, 2016, her parents; a sister Carol Wood, a brother James (Jimmie) K. Earl, two sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law, Shirley and Neil B. Cook, Nancy Palmer, Robert (Bob) R. Fall, W. Carl Fall, and Gary J. Fall.
Kay's passing leaves a significant void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Calling hours will be held at the Chateaugay Funeral Home on Monday, November 10, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will take place at the Eastside Cemetery, followed by a celebration of Kay's life at the Chateaugay Legion.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kay's memory can be made to the Chateaugay United Methodist Church.
