Kay Love Corbet Massey, 76, of Enola, Arkansas, went to her Heavenly home on November 1, 2023. She was born on June 30, 1947, in Little Rock, Arkansas to Don and Elizabeth Corbet.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carol Samples. Left to cherish her memory are her brother, Kim Corbet; son, Michael Massey; best friend, Danette Blackwell; and family friend, Raymond Gunther; among others.
Kay grew up attending First United Methodist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She had fond memories from her childhood of working at her grandfather’s store and going to the movies with friends. Kay was a 1965 graduate of North Little Rock High School. After high school, she married and bore a son, Michael, in her early 20s. In her late 20s, she became the first computer programmer for Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She would continue in that profession throughout her life, working additionally for American Audio and Frigidaire. Kay had a tremendous love for music, art, nature, and animals of all kinds. She loved growing roses and enjoyed anything that would flower. Birds, cats, and dogs were her favorite companions, yet she treated the smallest of God’s creatures with great respect.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
