Kay Mueller Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Services - Manitowoc on Feb. 17, 2026.
Kay F. Mueller, age 72, of Two Rivers passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center.

Kay was born January 16, 1954 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Carl and Geraldine (Klein) Mueller. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1973. Kay worked at Walmart for 10 years and ended her career at Dowco in 2019 when she retired.

Kay enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, doing anything crafty-sewing, bead working, and drawing. She enjoyed watching her daughter grow up to be a wonderful wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her adopted children, nieces, and nephews. She even claimed two men to be her boyfriend and teddy bear boyfriend; these two brought a lot of joy in her life which she enjoyed alot and cared about so much. Just making people laugh. She loved spending time with her son in law Calvin as he joked with her and spent quality time chatting about the good ole days. In the end she truly loved spending time with her grandson Daniel as they grew a close bond in the past two years and were nearly inseparable. She was so proud of the man he was becoming and couldn't wait to watch him go off into the military.

Survivors include her daughter Tiffany (Koch) LaFlash of Manitowoc and son-in-law Calvin LaFlash. Her five grandkids Trent A. Graubner (15), Daniel C. Graubner (15), Elyi J. Graubner (14), Westley D. LaFlash (3), and her one and only granddaughter AhzalliaRay S. LaFlash (3). Her sisters Lorraine (Mueller) Clevenger, Jeanie (Mueller) Hinds and husband Time Hinds, Maryann (Mueller) Kreuger and husband Randy Kreuger, and her brother Donnie Mueller and his wife Sue (Leist) Mueller. Kay is preceded in death by her parents Carl & Geraldine Mueller, her brother-in-law Carl Clevenger or Skip as we knew, and her brother Carl P. Mueller Jr. (survived by his wife Rosemary (Olm) Mueller.

A Celebration of life will be held June 6th 2026 starting at 1pm at Shadows, 12215 Marken Road Kiel, WI 53042. Following the celebration at dusk please join a few of us who have been by Kay's side through her illness and release some lanterns into the stars to send her spirit off to her parents.
