Kay Louise Pichette

Kay Louise Pichette, 80, of Bloomfield, beloved wife of Joseph Pichette, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Rector, AR to the late Joseph and Ruth (Lloyd) McCasland, she has been a Bloomfield resident for 52 years. Kay’s passion was spending time with her family and close friends. She loved the outdoors in warm weather, nature, flowers and enjoyed playing cards.She was a selfless woman who always put others’ needs ahead of her own. Kay was a people person who was loved by many, and she loved everyone unconditionally and without judgment. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she will be dearly missed. Kay was pre deceased by her eldest child Marsha McCasland. Besides her husband Joseph of Bloomfield, she is survived by her sons, Steven Pichette and his wife Dorothy of Florida, Michael Pichette and his wife Karen of Florida, James Pichette and his wife Paige of Bloomfield; her daughters, Susan Pichette of Bloomfield and Joydell Cebula of Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Eric, Joshua, Katie, Joey, Dillon, Tyler, Emma, Martin, Isabella, Jaime, and Kristina; and several great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, May 3 at The Lodge, 130 Deerfield Rd, Windsor. Her family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 10 AM to 11 AM. Entombment in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery Mausoleum will be private.
