Kay Millwood Rice

Kay Millwood Rice, 65, entered into heaven on December 4, 2022. She passed unexpectedly at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.

Kay was born November 2, 1957 in Gaston County to the late Ernest William Millwood and Florence Ida Morris Millwood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Jerry Rice; and her grandbaby, Aviana Lenae Medlin.

She worked at Wix Corp. for many years before retiring. She enjoyed being on facebook and keeping up with her family and friends. She also enjoyed shopping, going to Starbucks, shagging, and people-watching. Most of all she loved being at the beach, walking in the sand, and listening to the water.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her devoted and loving son, Anthony Scott Parker and his wife, Crystal; her grandchildren, William Christopher Smith and wife Kindra, Emilie Grace Parker, Kaitlyn Alyssa Parker, and Taylor McKenzie Parker; her great-grandchildren Ezekiel Bolin, Abby Grace Lott and Avery Rayne Medlin; brothers, Anthony Wayne Millwood, Kenneth Scott Millwood and wife Doyla; sisters, Teresa Sue Mullis and husband David, and Robin Marie Deal; as well as many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and his beloved fur baby, Angel.
