Kay Frances Siblik (Messer) of Yorkville, Illinois and formerly Naperville, Illinois passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 4, 2025.
Kay was born on September 1, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois to Otto and Nettie Messer joining her four older brothers and sisters. She graduated from Leyden High School and went on to work at Sears Roebuck and Company for over 10 years in several different positions.
In 1962 she met her loving husband, Daniel James Siblik, and they married on May 23, 1964. During their over 61 years together they built a beautiful family with two daughters and a son. Later their family grew with 6 grandchildren and their first great-grandson. Kay was all about family and loved spending time with them. Many holidays, birthdays and milestones were celebrated together with her family.
Kay had many different hobbies and activities during her life. She enjoyed bowling and golfing with her husband and in leagues. In her quiet time, she liked to read and crochet. Many of her children and grandchildren have beautiful blankets that she made for them. She loved playing card games and laughing with her extended family. Kay also enjoyed doing ceramics with a lady's group and made many beautiful mementos. She was a great cook and many delicious meals were shared with her loved ones.
Kay is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel and her loving children Debra (Ron) DeVince, Donna (Josh) Zirin and Daniel (Randa) Siblik. Also, by her cherished grandchildren RJ (Ashley) DeVince, Justin DeVince, Zachary (Madison) Zirin, Jacob Zirin, Corinne Siblik, Louis Siblik and her adored great-grandson Sawyer DeVince. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, their spouses and some of her nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on December 15, 2025, at 12:30 pm with a short service at 2:00 pm. Both will take place at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Home, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, IL 60564. A private internment will follow at Naperville Cemetery.
