Kayla Renee Blackburn

Kayla Blackburn, 28, of Alvin, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025. She was born on August 26, 1997, in Houston, Texas, and was a lifelong resident of Alvin.

Kayla was a devoted and loving mother to her four children, who were truly the center of her world. She was a caring daughter, sister, niece, and a loyal friend to many. Those who knew Kayla will remember her as an emotionally driven and deeply compassionate soul-when she loved, she loved with her whole heart.

She is preceded in death by her father, Henry Palomarez; her grandmother, Renee Houck; and her great-grandmother, Heidi Blackburn.

Kayla is survived by her beloved children, Allyannah Garcia, Genevie Medina, Andres Garcia, and Giovanni Medina; her mother, Lindey Blackburn; her siblings, Layla Palomarez, Anabelle Saenz, and Gabriel Saenz; as well as many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, with graveside services to be held at 2:00 PM at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.

Kayla's love, spirit, and presence will be dearly missed, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her most.
