Kayla C. Hudson-Vanesky

It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Kayla C. Hudson-Vanesky, age 34, of Oshkosh, on Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was born on May 13, 1991, to Jeff and Diane (Lindsey) Hudson.

Kayla graduated from Menasha High School in 2009 and married Theodore Vanesky in November 2010. The two had two children whom she was so proud of.

Kayla cherished spending time with her children, Phoenix and Parker. She loved journaling and writing, taking them to amusement parks like Bay Beach and Great America, and shopping for school clothes or holiday gifts-always finding joy in any excuse to create special memories. Kayla was proud to watch Phoenix run track and lift weights, supporting her children's growth and accomplishments.

She had a passion for working with the elderly and enjoyed her career in private home care and at TouchMark. Known for her kindness, warmth, and strong work ethic, Kayla touched the lives of many through her compassionate care.

She is survived by her loving children, Phoenix and Parker; husband, Ted; father and step-mother, Jeff and Shelley Hudson; and her siblings: William Beckerson, Crystal Hudson, Kimberlee Remter (Jeff), Margret Hudson, and Douglas Hudson. She is further survived by her grandmother, Marie Hudson; her mother-in-law, Kathy Vanesky; as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, and one niece.

Kayla was preceded in death by her mother, Diane; her twin infant boys, Jeffrey and Dennis; her grandparents, Ona and Clifford Lindsey; and uncles Chad Wisneski and Douglas Hudson, Jr.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Kayla's life will be held from 2:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Menasha's Westgor Funeral Home.
