KAYLAN A. COBLE

1982 - 2023

ATHENS, Ala. - Kaylan A. Coble, 40, of Athens, Ala. and formerly of Cherry Tree, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 8, 2023, after a short illness.

Born Dec. 9, 1982, in Miner's Hospital, Spangler, to Melissa A. Coble of Cherry Tree.

Kaylan was a 2001 graduate of Harmony Area School District and attended Slippery Rock University and recently attended Athens State University.

Kaylan is survived by mother and stepfather, James and Melissa Shomo of Fallentimber; daughters, Kaitlyn Coble and Natalie Coble of Athens, Ala.; grandmother, Jean Coble of Patton; grandfather, Don Coble of Penn Run; aunt, Melanie Coble of Athens, Ala. whom he resided with for 18 years; uncle, Mark Coble of Madison, Ala.; and aunt, Michelle Hazlett of Cherry Tree; stepsiblings, Ben Hamilton and family of Coalport, Rebecca Cusick and family of Coalport, Brock Shomo of Fallentimber, and Shane Shomo serving in the U.S. Army; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins, including special cousin, Kerri Coble of Cherry Tree; puppy, Tilly; and his Olive Garden Family.

Anyone who knew Kaylan knew his favorite things in life were spending time with his girls, basketball, dirt track races, Havoc Hockey games, the mountains, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler Fan.

Per Kaylan's wishes, a Steeler themed Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Burnside Fire Hall, Burnside.
