Kaytlyn Raeanne Marie Hill

Kaytlyn Raeanne Marie Hill, 33, of Moline, IL, passed away, November 30, 2025, at MercyOne Genesis Silvis Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the family.

Kaytlyn was born on January 13, 1992, in Silvis, IL, the daughter of Jerry Hill and Mary Freeborn. She worked as a manager and server at River House Bar & Grill in Moline, and had also worked for Culver’s, Panera Bread, Starbucks, and Steel Plow. Kaytlyn was a 2010 graduate at United Township High School. In high school, she was a member of NHS (National Honors Society), Color Guard, and played the clarinet and flute. Kaytlyn often wrote poetry and loved listening to Taylor Swift. In her younger years, she played soccer, basketball, and softball. Kaytlyn had a great sense of humor and would offer help to anyone that needed it.

Survivors include her father, Jerry; brother, Jordan Hill of Moline; stepbrother, Nick DeShane of Coal Valley; nephew, Jeremy Hill; paternal grandparents, James and Carole Vrban of Colona; aunts, Brandi (Ron) Erickson of Geneseo, Cori (Brian) Rossmiller of Moline, and Stacie (Brock) Hatfield of Rock Island; several cousins and godchildren; beloved cat, Carrie.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Little; stepmother, Jane Hill; paternal grandfather, Jerry Hill; maternal grandparents, Frank and Ethel Freeborn.
