In Loving Memory of Mr. Ke'Andre Devon Hale "Forever 13 – Continue Balling in Heaven"
Mr. Ke'Andre Devon Hale, age 13, of Battle Creek, MI, gained his wings on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
Born on March 12, 2012, Ke'Andre was the beloved son of Shakia Tucker and Andre Hale Sr. He was an 8th-grade student at Battle Creek Public Schools, known for his bright spirit and love for basketball.
Ke'Andre is survived by his parents, Shakia Tucker, and Andre Hale Sr.; brothers Ke 'Marion Tucker, Ke'Shawn Tucker, Andre Hale II, Antonio Blythe, De Andre Hale, Christopher Hale, and Andre Hale III; sisters Andrice Johnson, Averica Turner, Adreonna Mundy, and Diamond Clark.
He is also survived by his grandparents Anita Figgures-Tucker and David Tucker; great-grandfather Andrew Figgures Jr.; aunts Shaprecia Tucker and Nikita Hale; uncles Shondre' Tucker and David A. Tucker; and his cherished first cousins Amara Boyd, Taher Boyd, and Ka Mora Parker. Ke'Andre leaves behind a host of loving cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and even great-nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his best friends, Daevion Matthews, and Tonojaiair Mitchell.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Debra Hale and Ricky Brown; great-grandmothers Barbara Ford, Ernestine Smith, Celeste Hilsman, and Patricia Figgures; great-grandfather David L. Tucker; great-great-grandparents Walter and Ardelia Tucker, Dora Bell, Octavia and Charlie Stewart, and Willie & Bertha Hale Sr.; aunt Moniquka Hale; uncle Xavier West; great-uncles De Wayne Smith and Andrew Figgures III; and great-aunt Valissa Tucker.
Ke'Andre participated in basketball with the Cereal City Hoopster's. He also played with other programs and enjoyed challenging others, showcasing his skills with impressive jump shots. Additionally, he had interests in video games, music, and socializing with family and friends.
