Funeral service for Keaton Brooks Wright, age 6, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. Keaton Wright passed away in his home on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
Keaton Brooks Wright was born on May 30, 2018 in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Hunter Blaine Wright and Ashley Michelle (Meler) Smith.
Keaton is survived by his father, Hunter Wright and wife Abby, of Sulphur Springs, Texas; mother, Ashley Smith and husband Chris, of Fate, Texas; siblings, Tinsley Wright, Hays Wright, Jax Bryant, Everlee Wright, Marlee Wright, and Levi Smith; grandparents, Kay Bishop of Fate, Texas, Jason Meler of Tyler, Texas, Ken and Chrisi Wright of Cooper, Texas; and numerous other grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gary Bishop; and aunt, Jamie Hailey.
