The first time I meet Keefe and Britt, they called me after they bought the house on N. Delmar to talk about a remodel. After they finally moved here, I did odd jobs for Keefe and Britt. Over the years we became close sharing Italian food recipes and fishing stories. I told him I'd like to open a food truck specializing in sausage and pepper sandwiches. He told me he'd work for me for free. The last time my wife and I spent time with Keefe and Britt, we made 50 pounds of sausages. From then on my new name was Mr. Salsiccia. As couples, we shared a similar healthcare scare between Brit and Lisa. That long journey had a great outcome, but drew us closer as family.

One of the last times we all spoke on the phone, was pure excitement for us, it was so good to hear your voice. He spoke of faith, family and joy and we cherished every word.

Miss you brother, LOVE you BOTH !!!

Keefe was the closest person to a real brother I ever had. We always laughed every year at ART and KRAFT festival in anacortes we would walk down to get pepper and sausage sandwiches people would ask us if we were brothers we would have the best time making up stories and laughing with people that of course believed our stories...
