LIMA -- Keith R. Armour, age 73, passed away July 19, 2023, at 2:48 am, in the Lima Memorial Health System E.R. Keith was born January 20, 1950, in Newton, MA, to Charles Bradley and Josephine (Annis) Amour Sr. who preceded him in death. On May 10, 1986, he married Nancy E. (Hahn) Armour who survives in Lima.
In addition to his wife, Keith is survived by their son, Justin (Brandy) Armour of Lewis Center, OH, 3 grandchildren: Carlyssa, Eliza and Dylan Amour, a sister, Nancy J. Amour of Denver, CO, a brother, Charles Bradley Amour Jr. of VA and a step brother, Phil (Kathy) Dixon of Lima, OH.
Keith was a 1967 graduate of Shawnee High School. Early in his career he had worked with the FBI and then Attica Prison in Attica, NY. Keith then joined his father at Klay Supply where he worked until the business closed. He then became an independent Insurance Broker with Humana and was still working with them part time. Keith was a member of the Lima Moose Lodge and former member of the BPOE #54. He along with his wife Nancy, were members of St. Gerard's Catholic Church. Keith's true passion was golf. He won the Lima City Golf Championship twice and Club Championship several times at Lost Creek Country Club. He and Nancy loved traveling and was able to see the world. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He thoroughly enjoyed attending all of their events.
There will be a memorial service held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel. Officiating the service will be Fr. Mike Sergi. Burial of cremated remains will be done privately in Gethsemani Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may visit on Monday from 3-8 pm and again on Tuesday one hour prior to the service all at the Shawnee Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Allen County Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.

So sorry to his wife Nancy and Children and Grandchildren sorry for your loss many prayers and Condolences With Deepest Sympathy he was my Humana Representative for year's and year's till he Retired Etc. Always kind and helped me make the best plan with Humana Etc. We have talked alot on telephone and in person at Mercer County Liabrary and or at my home! Loved all he had done for me. He was like a friend. Sorry to find out today through a new Humana Agent Sandra Barteis! He always happy and smiles. Always enjoyed doing Business with him! So so sorry again for your loss!

Sorry to hear about Keith's passing. I took up golf in my senior year of high school and got to play several rounds with Keith before graduation during which he taught me several things. I loved his sense of humor and I'm confident he was a great father/grandfather. Rest in Peace, Keith, now you can play all those great golfers who have been waiting for you
