Keith Frederick Boerner
Keith, age 81, was the youngest of four brothers born to Alma and Harold Boerner in Glencoe, Minnesota, on December 2, 1944. Raised in New Auburn and graduating from Glencoe School, he later attended Gustavus Adolfus in Saint Peter, MN, before spending four years in the Navy during Vietnam. After completing his service in the Navy, he attended St. Cloud State where he graduated with a degree in accounting. He met his wife Carol Mae Evenson of Arlington, MN while in college and married. After marriage and college, they moved throughout the Twin Cities area. He and his wife ran multiple businesses together through their early years of marriage. After living throughout Minnesota his family settled in Moorhead, where he spent the remainder of his life. He worked and eventually retired driving a truck for Transystems. After a battle with Alzheimer's disease, he passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, surrounded by family at BeeHive Homes Assisted Living, Moorhead, MN.
He is survived by his wife Carol Mae of 56 years and their three sons Chris (Katy), Kevin, and Kyle (Briann), as well as three grandchildren Clayton, Lucy, and Otto.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and a daughter Carrie Anne.
A Celebration of Life will be held this summer.
His final resting place will be at the Fargo National Cemetery in Harwood, ND.
