Keith Warren Greenwaldt, 59, of Staples, MN, passed away on Monday March 17th 2025, in his home surrounded by family. Service information is pending at this time.
Keith was born June 14th 1965 in St. Louis Park MN, the son of Gordon Greenwaldt and Lyda Cocking.
Keith grew up in Motley/Staples area, while the family had moved to Lonsdale/Montgomery for a few years, they moved back to Staples during his freshman year of high school. Keith was involved in football and wrestling during his high school years. After high school he moved to Sydney Montana with his brother Gordy, working various jobs until he returned home. He then started working in construction (sewer and water). Most of his career he spent working in the twin cities during the weekdays and spending the weekends and winter months with his four children until his retirement in 2023. In Early November of 2017 Keith met the love of his life Lori. Together they traveled to places like North Carolina and countless trips to Duluth MN.
Keith was always up for a game of cards and always had a thermos of coffee and ready at moment’s notice to go somewhere. He enjoyed his grand kids and was involved in their activities. Everything from wrestling, basketball, musicals, and plays. He was known for his great sense of humor and one-line jokes.
Remaining to cherish Keith’s memory is the Love of his life, children, grandchildren, and siblings...Lori Ammend, Seth (Kerrie) Greenwaldt-Elijah, Leah, Eva, Lane, Simone (Travus) Faulkner- Emmit, Naudia, Jonathan, Jacob, Joey, Elsie (Josh) Jeffery-Liam, Abraham, Amelia, Ethan Greenwaldt
Siblings- Gordy (Mary) Greenwaldt, Linda Doucette, Wade (Dayna) Greenwaldt, Cindy and Cheryl.
Preceding Keith in death were his Mother Lyda Cocking, Father Gordan Greenwaldt, Brother Joel Greenwaldt, Brother-in-law Larry Doucette
A memorial service will be held at Motley Free Methodist Church on Thursday March 20th, 2025, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. Followed by a funeral service on Friday March 21st 2025, at 11:00am.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Staples.
