I met Keith on our Not-TR Slack channel. He is the kind of person that shares freely his joys and his pain. He helped me out with my network just a few weeks ago. We chatted on the phone while he viewed my network over an app and showed me how to get it to work transitioning from win7 to win10. He was self depreciating and funny and kind hearted. I'm shocked and saddened that he has passed so young. We will all miss him.

I didn´t know Charlie long. But what I knew of him was deep, friendly, memorable, and most of all, meaningful.
He offered friendship freely and generously. He was willing to talk about his ups and downs in life, especially if he thought they would help someone else in their own life´s journey. I am very sorry to know he is gone; the world is just a little darker and a little colder with his passing.
My thoughts go out to all of his family and any of his friends during this time. My prayers will be with you all.

A few years ago Charlie asked his friends in the "Not-TR" Slack to send him interesting foods from our native lands so he could try some new things. I sent him an assortment of Dutch snacks that he politely claimed to have enjoyed. Shortly after, he lost his faithful cat and my daughter helped me pick out a plush calico to send and comfort him.
We will miss Charlie and will not forget him. We will toast him at the BBQ this summer and, befitting his viking spirit, send off his memory in a tiny flaming boat on Lake Michigan.
To whoever inherits his cat, take good care of her, you have big shoes to fit.

We shared a lot of late night tech talk. This hits me pretty hard since we spent so much time chatting about anything that came to mind while gaming. Going to miss you bro. -Phill

After all of the online conversations we've had over the years, I was looking forward to finally meeting Charlie in person later this summer. It saddens me greatly that I will now never have the opportunity to do so. Learning about his struggles, his setbacks, and his victories made me a better person.
A few months ago, we were messaging back and forth on Slack. Charlie must've accidentally hit the "huddle" (voice chat) button; I assumed he wanted to talk so I put on my headset and said "hello". I guess I really freaked him out, nearly gave him a heart attack because he wasn't expecting my voice to come out of his computer...
On behalf of his online friends on Slack, my heartfelt condolences to his friends and family.
So long Charlie, you will be missed.

Charlie was a better friend to me than I deserved. I was hoping to see him later this summer, we had plans for July. My world is a little smaller and darker than it was. I'm sorry we didn't get to the BBQ. I won't forget you.
