Keith H. Illingworth

Keith H. Illingworth, 74, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Friday February 7, 2025 at his home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. He was born on August 24, 1950 in New Haven, Connecticut to the late James & Mary Muckley Illingworth.
Along with his parents, Keith is reunited in passing with his sons, Zachary & Jonathan.
Keith proudly served our country in the United States Army and served in Vietnam- where he became equipped with skills he would carry for life. Following his honorable discharge, Keith found his knack for HVAC. He was a skilled technician who would proudly share his knowledge. In his free time, Keith loved listening to music, especially the Beatles and Chicago. Keith also enjoyed cheering on the New York Yankees and Giants. Above all else, Keith loved his family with his whole heart. Several years ago, an opportunity arose where Keith was granted the ability to help raise his granddaughter- he rose to the occasion with compassion and grace. Keith will forever be remembered for his kind demeanor, giving heart and the love he had for his family. He will be deeply missed for the amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend he truly was.
Left to cherish Keith's memory are his adoring wife of over 16 years, Tina J. Illingworth of Myrtle Beach; children, Erik (Eva), Mary, Lisa Marie & Christopher; beloved granddaughter and the apple of his eye, Kenzie; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Lynda), Bill & Eddie (Vikki); sisters, Patty (Brian) & Joanne; special aunt, Ethel; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.
A Celebration of Keith's life will be held on Saturday February 22, 2025 at 4:00PM at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Highway, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576.
