Keith was born in Lonestar, Texas on December 2, 1963 to Brenda Couch and Kenneth Cochran.

Keith left us to be with the Lord on July 22, 2025. He passed peacefully and will be greatly missed.

He graduated from Daingerfield High school in 1982. He went on to attend Evangel University and earned a degree in Business Management.

He married Kristen Comer on July 13, 1998 in Shreveport , Louisiana. They were married for 23 years. They were blessed with three daughters, Grace, Annie, and Ellie.

Keith worked for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical as a sales representative. He was active from childhood, taking a special interest in football which would take him all the way to Evangel University. He was beloved by his peers and teammates from Evangel University. His playing position was linebacker and was known by his team members as “Captain Crunch” and the “Kingman”. Football continued to be one of his passions on the field and sidelines. He carried his Crusader pride long after retiring from the field. His involvement in the Strike Force was also a big part of his life, it gave him a place to minister and share the Gospel. Keith was admired for his sense of humor and strong will. He will be remembered for being the life of the party. Keith was bigger than life, a jokester, witty, and loved to talk. He never went anywhere he didn't know someone there or made a new friend before he left. If he liked you, then you typically got your own nickname too.

He leaves behind Kristen Comer Kingston, Grace Kingston Wischnewsky and her husband Trevor Wischnewsky & grandchildren, Charlotte and Graham Wischnewsky, Annie Kingston Ruiz and her husband Marco Ruiz, and his youngest daughter Ellie Kingston. His sister Keena McNaughton, his brother Kenneth Kingston and step-father Jimmie Lee Kingston.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Couch Kingston, and his grandparents, John and Mary Couch.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Boston University Research Center for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy to continue to aid in research for this terrible disease that robs the mind.
