Our beloved father, grandfather, son and dear friend passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2026, at his home. Age 53. He was born on January 29, 1972, the son of Joseph and Kathleen (Willson) Stosik.
Keith was a 1990 graduate of T.L. Handy High School. Throughout his working years, he was employed with Van Poppelen Brothers Block Company in Bay City, Continental Rental, and S.E.C. in Saginaw, Michigan. He was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.
Keith truly enjoyed life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time on the beach and vacationing in the Virgin Islands, especially St. Thomas in the Caribbean. Camping trips to the Gladwin and Harrison areas brought him great joy. He also enjoyed watching sports, listening to music, attending concerts, and spoiling his beloved cats, Looney and Arwen.
Surviving is his son, Kyler (Allison Doss) Kussy; his daughter, Julianna Kussy (Nick Ciesla); his grandson, Jack Kussy; his significant other, Liisa Pembroke; his father, Joseph Kussy; and a dear cousin and best friend, Jill Blumhardt. Keith is also survived by extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Keith was predeceased by his mother, Kathleen Stosik, and his brother, Brent Kussy.
Per Keith's wishes, cremation will take place. The family is currently planning a celebration of life service, which will be announced at a later date.
