Keith A. Lopes, 65, of Whitney, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025, at Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital. Born Dec. 8, 1959, in Greensburg, he was the son of the late Clifford L. and Linda D. (Sowers) Lopes. Prior to his retirement, Keith was a self-employed brick mason. He was a member of the Derry Rod & Gun Club, the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Department Social Club, and the Hostetter Slovak Club. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judy (Mohon) Lopes. Keith is survived by his companion, Kathy Frowen, of Whitney; three brothers, Daryl Lopes and his wife, Kelly, of Whitney, Robert Lopes and his wife, Rachel A., of Latrobe, and Eugene Lopes and his wife, Tammy L., of Derry; his stepmother, Christy A. Lopes; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dog, "Baby Girl." Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2025, at LOPATICH-BRINKER FUNERAL HOME LLC, 601 Weldon St., Latrobe. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, in the funeral home, with the Rev. Jess Felici officiating. Interment is private.
