Keith Phillip Neer, 44, passed away on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, at St. Rose Dominican Hospital, in Henderson, Nevada, due to complications from his battle with cancer.
Keith was born at Illini Hospital, in Silvis, Illinois, to Terry Charles and Michele Rose Neer (Bennett), on July 21st, 1981.
Keith was raised in Port Byron, Illinois, and graduated from Riverdale Senior High School, on Friday, May 19th, 2000. After high school, he worked for Whitey’s Ice Cream, QCA Pools & Spa, Isle of Capri Casino and Rhythm City Casino, before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada, in April of 2007. Since then, he has worked as a gaming dealer and pit boss for Gold Coast Casino and Harrah’s Casino, and worked as a graveyard bartender at MVP Sports Lounge, and Front Row Lounge.
Keith met his beautiful wife, Teresa Marie Kuner (Francis), in May of 2014, at Putter’s on Rainbow, at pool league. After Teresa brutally beat Keith’s best friend, Kareem, he invited her out with his friends, for some drinks. They made out like teenagers and have been together ever since. They were married at The Little Church of the West, in Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 25th, 2016. That day, Keith not only gained an extraordinary wife, but he also gained a wonderful son, Aaron Kuner, and their amazing family.
Keith loved playing pool, playing golf, watching all sports on TV, especially Pittsburgh Steelers and Michigan Wolverines, making little side bets with friends, which he usually lost, and family game nights along with building Lego sets together with his wife and son. But most of all, he loved family!
Keith is preceded in death by his grandparents, Phillip & Barbara Bennett (Brand), Gerald “Jerry” Neer, Mary Gillepsie (Winthurst), his uncle, Gary Neer, his aunt and uncle, Jerry and Ann Bennett, his father-in-law, Larry Francis, and his grandmother-in-law, Mary Riede (Scranton).
Keith is survived by his wife, Teresa Kuner (Francis), his stepson, Aaron Kuner, his sister, Tara (Neer) & Joshua Kain, his parents, Terry & Michele (Bennett) Neer, his niece, Kelly Hillestad, and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation and eulogy service will be Friday, December 12th, 2025, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, at Davis Funeral Homes, 6200 S. Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119. A Celebration of Life will be held afterwards at Front Row Lounge, 4180 S. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
A memorial celebration, for his friends and family, in his hometown of Port Byron, Illinois, will be held, at a later date, in early 2026.
The family of Keith Phillip Neer, wishes to extend their sincere thanks to everyone that has reached out for comfort, prayer and love.
