Keith Ranck Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Harshbarger Funeral Home on Feb. 10, 2026.
Keith G. Ranck, 87,of McVeytown, went to be with our Lord & Savior on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center with his loving wife by his side.

He was the son of J. Emmert and Bernice (Crosson)Ranck who preceded him in death along with his siblings Marlin E. Ranck (Anna), J. Noman Ranck (Vera), Thelma Smith (James). Evelyn McMonigal (Wilmer).

Keith was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Also preceding him in death were nephews David, Kenny, Karl, Brian & one niece, Tammy.

Keith was a 1957 graduate of Captain Jack High School. He met his lifelong Sweetheart, Donna (Stayner), in the 6th grade, marrying her in 1957 and then sharing 68 years as husband and wife. During their marriage, Keith and Donna brought forth three beautiful children of whom they were very proud.

Surviving children: Terry K. Ranck and wife Natalie, Annette K. Dicello and husband Dan, Suzanne C. Lutinski and husband Daniel. Their family grew to include seven grandchildren, Eric, Sean (and wife Jessica), Nicole, David Dicello (and wife Dana), Gracie Denson (and husband Corey), Daniel Dicello (and wife Victoria).Keith Lutinski (and wife Rachel), 13 great grandchildren and one great-greatgrandson: as well as many nieces and nephews. He dearly loved his family with all of his heart.

He was a member of Spring Run Church of the Brethren in McVeytown and regularly attended the Ryde United Methodist Church and had done so for many years.

Keith was a lifelong dairy farmer on the same farm where he lived since he was three years old.

He was a faithful Christian and a man of his word. A generous, kind, and hardworking man who was willing to help anyone in need. He would literally give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it. Faith, Family, Friends and Farming were among his favorite things. WELL DONE THY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT.

Friends and family will be received Saturday, February 14th from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 noon at the Ryde United Methodist Church with the Pastor Faith Anderson officiating. Interment will be made at the Spring Run Cemetery in McVeytown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his honor to the Ryde United Methodist Church, 80 Ryde Rd., McVeytown, PA 17051; or the Spring Run Church of the Brethren, P.O. Box 333, McVeytown, PA 17051; or the Salvation Army, 9 South Dorcas St., Lewistown, PA 17044.
