Keith Sellner Obituary

GUILDERLAND - The Sellner family lost our dear brother, Keith, on August 21, 2025, following aggressive liver cancer.
Keith was the son of Leonard and Helen Sellner and was intellectually disabled from birth. In spite of this condition, he was one cheerful and talkative soul for his family and those in his Living Resources Lone Pine group home, where he resided for 30+ years. He loved being the navigator for any vehicle he was riding in, readily pointing left or right for an appropriate turn, always getting drivers and passengers to Schenectady or Albany McDonalds, movies, malls, diners, or grocery stores. His thigh-slapping beats to classic rock and roll songs on car radios were true treats for those riding with him and he loved Big Macs, King Kong, and Law and Order.
The family is deeply, deeply appreciative of the staff at the Lone Pine group home and his friends, Tom and Al, as they all treated Keith as a brother and friend for his years of care - we are forever indebted to all of these angels of mercy. He is survived by brothers, Kent and wife, Ann Marie (Niskayuna, N.Y.) and Kevin and wife, Stella (Frederick, Md.); and his sister, Karen (Dunedin, Fla.) whom he loved so completely.
In lieu of flowers or gifts to the family, please donate to Living Resources, 300 Washington Ave., Extension, Albany, N.Y. 12203 and request the donation be sent to the Lone Pine facility, at 3026 Lone Pine Rd., Schenectady, N.Y. 12303.
