Keith Yount, 76, of Windsor, Missouri, died Monday evening, December 30, 2024, at his home in Windsor.
He was born January 1, 1948, in Windsor, Mo., the son of William Jessie "Bill" Yount and Elsie Delma (Culley) Yount. On December 13, 1975, he married Carolyn Sue McKim at the United Methodist Church, Windsor, and she survives of the home.
Keith graduated from Windsor High School in 1966. He served in the United States Navy and then worked as an over-the-road truck driver for many years. He worked for Clearfield Cheese in Clinton and then Overnight Transportation, retiring as a driver for UPS. He was a member of the Windsor United Methodist Church. He enjoyed Wednesday Bible study, visiting friends at the American Leigon, eating Chinese food, helping at the Historical Society and volunteering and helping his community. He had a fun collection of comical socks and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Carol, survivors include 2 daughters, Christine Robbins (Joel), Windsor, Mo., and Elizabeth Yount (Brad Stone), Windsor, Mo.; a son-in-law, Randy Heany, Windsor, Mo.; 9 grandchildren, Dakodah Yount (Paige), Emma Brooks, Jaxen Heany, Landon Heany, Malik Robbins, Alex Robbins, Madison Sierks, Wyatt Sierks, and Harlee Arnold; 2 great-grandchildren, Ryli McNeely and Kasen Yount; and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Jennifer Heany; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bruce and Marilyn McKim.
**NOTE DATE CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER** Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at the Windsor United Methodist Church with Pastor Allison Wilson and Pastor Pete Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. The family will receive friends at the church before the service from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The family suggests contributions to the Windsor United Methodist Church in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
