Kelley Schott-Prochak Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ponder Funeral Home - Sikeston on Mar. 30, 2026.
Kelley Renee Prochak (Schott) daughter of the late Leo Curtis Schott and H. Carolyn Schott was born February 16, 1970 in Sikeston, MO and departed her life on Saturday, March 28th, 2026 at St. Louis University Hospital, at the age of 56.

Kelley was well known for her fun-loving spirit and passion for kids. Over the years, Kelley has touched the lives of more than one hundred kids with love, fun, and precious memories through babysitting. She continued to fuel that passion after babysitting through quality time, love, and caring for her own children and grandkids.

Kelley was a devoted mother, wife, and grandmother whose life was centered around the people she loved most. She was selfless in every sense of the word, always putting others before herself and offering a steady source of care and comfort to her family. Kelley had a deeply loving heart and a thoughtful nature, never missing an opportunity to lend a helping hand, share kind words, or simply be there when someone needed her.

She was endlessly supportive, encouraging those around her to be their best while standing by them through every challenge and triumph. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and generous soul touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression that will never be forgotten. Kelley's love was constant and unwavering, and her presence brought warmth, strength, and peace to her family and friends every single day.

On December 3rd, 2004 she was united in marriage to Stephen Thomas Prochak, who survives in the home.

Survivors include, two brothers Doug (Darlene) Schott and Jeff (Leah) Schott; by one daughter Kelsey (Joe) Webb; by one son Kordell Prochak; and three grandsons Josiah, Silas, and Isaiah Webb.

Visitation will be on April 1st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, MO where the funeral service will be on the following day, Thursday, April 2nd at 11:00 a.m.
