Kellie Renee Wise

Kellie Renee Wise, age 60, of Newport, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her home on January 7th, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer that she fought with strength and grace for more than four years.

Born and raised in Newport, Kellie was deeply rooted in her hometown and the people she loved. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Carroll and Polly Wise, and her brother, Keith Wise.

She is survived by her longtime, loving partner, Kurt Owens; her beloved son, Chad Manning; her daughter, Chelsi Malone; and her cherished grandchildren, Kailey, Karson, Karlie, Carter, Ryker, and Karoline. She also leaves behind her precious great-granddaughter, Avery, who brought her immense joy, and her best friend, Cathy McNeal, who cared and loved her like her own.

Kellie loved going on what she called adventures, traveling, and making people laugh, but above all, she loved her family. She was known for her strength, her humor, and her ability to light up a room. To those who knew her best, Kellie was the strongest woman they knew-fierce, resilient, and full of love, even in the face of life's hardest battles.

Friends will be received from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 9th, 2026, at Manes Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will take place at Bruner's Grove Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 10th, 2026.

Kellie's legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply and the countless lives she touched with her laughter, kindness, and unwavering strength.
