As of Thursday, September 29, 2022, After a heroic, 4-year battle with Cancer, Kelly Ann Altice, 52 year old Jedi Grand Master, has finally laid down her Light Saber and has begun her journey to a Galaxy Far Far Away.
Kelly Ann Grove Altice was born into the Muggle world on Thursday, September 10, 1970 by parents, Jane Pritt and Ron Grove. She was the oldest of 3 siblings, Scott Grove and, as Kelly would say, “The Cutest Boy in The Whole World”, Jonathan “Joshanon” Cheverton.
Kelly is preceded in death by her beloved Grandparents, Eunice “Maw Maw” Webb, Jimmy “Paw Paw” Webb, Maxine “Grandma” Grove; Step-Father, Edward “Eddie” White; Uncles, Gary and Jimmy Lee Webb, Jr.; Father-in-Law, Jeff “Papa” Moran; Nephew, Nolan “NoNo” Young; and her two fur babies Annabelle and Rosie Altice.
Surviving is her adoring husband, James Allen Altice a.k.a. “Tanto” and her daughter, Cheyenne Elyse Altice, a.k.a. her “little Punkin”.
Surviving also are her parents, Jane and Ron, Brothers, Jonathan and Scott, Uncle Bill Grove and Aunt Linda Grove, Mother-in-Law, Dana “Nana” Moran, Brothers-in-Law, Tony and Wayne Altice, Sisters-in-Law: Carrie Altice, Rhonda Altice, Mary Cheverton, and life-long best friend and Godparent to Cheybaby, Tammy “Freeman” Roach.
Kelly is also survived by countless dear friends, Matty, Rob, Susan, Maria, Gunnar, Vesper, Sarah, Frank, Jeff and Tiffany, to just name a few.
Kelly devoted 24 passionate years of her life to her work at Aramark as an I.T. Professional and dutifully served her Gaming Registration family at Dragoncon for 21 years.
Kelly was an incredible Mother, Wife, Khaleesi, Daughter, Sister, Friend and Co-worker. She will be forever missed.

A celebration of her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Mr. Euell Moran officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will be receiving friends Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
