Kelly Bess Obituary
Kelly Christina Bess, 45, of Morganton and formerly of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 at her residence.
She was born in Cleveland County on January 6, 1978 to Ella “Judy” Lovelace Bess and the late Robert Wayne Bess. Kelly will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and daughter who will be greatly missed by all. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter more than anything.
In addition to her mother, Judy Bess, she is survived by her daughter, Emmalyn Farmer; sister, Tracy Morgan (Frank); aunts and uncles, Jimmy Lovelace (Janet), Ruby Dingus (Don), Shirley Storie (Clifton), Steve Bess (Betty), and Mike Church; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beam Funeral Service with Pastor Dennis Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Charity Mission Free Will Baptist Church, 2183 Deer Park Road, Nebo, NC 28761.
