Kelly Clark Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Love Funeral Home - Palmyra on Mar. 30, 2026.
Kelly Alfreda (Allen) Clark, age 67, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on March 29, 2026.

She was born on March 13, 1959, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Harold and Mary Allen. Kelly was a 1977 graduate of Crawford County Junior Senior High School. In her earlier years, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, dedicating herself to caring for others. Later in life, she devoted her time to being a loving stay-at-home mother, always putting her family first.

Kelly enjoyed many simple pleasures in life. She loved painting, working puzzles, watching television, and reading mystery books. She had a passion for thrifting and a special place in her heart for animals, especially cats. Above all, Kelly cherished time spent with her family, particularly her children and grandchildren, of whom she was immensely proud.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Allen.

Kelly is survived by her mother, Mary (Silas) Metz; her daughter, Mindy (James) Foust; her son, Charles Clark; her sisters, Rebecca Buchtel, Kathy (Brian) Wilson, and Modesta (Tom) Goodman; and her brother, Earl Wayne Allen. She also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren: Alex (Kate) Cannello, June Cannello, Len Cannello, Haley Seaton, Chris Lindauer, Emily Clark, Hannah Clark, and Hayden Ledford; as well as great-grandchildren: Charlie Cannello, Ollie Rowan, and Vivian Clark.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her devoted caretakers, Stephanie Ledford and Heidi Chambers, for the love, compassion, and exceptional care they provided. They were like daughters to Kelly, and their kindness and dedication will always be remembered with deep gratitude.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on April 18, 2026, at Community Worship Chapel, located at 4925 IN-64, Marengo, Indiana 47140. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the same location.
