Kelly Schwinof, age 59, passed away on January 10, 2026, after a brief and unexpected battle with cancer. Her loss was sudden and deeply heartbreaking, and she will be missed beyond words by all who knew and loved her.

Kelly was a devoted mother and a loving grandmother whose family meant everything to her. She took great pride in her children and found immense joy in being a grandmother. Her grandchildren brought light and happiness into her life, and being their grandmother was one of the roles she cherished most.

Kelly was known for her determination and her thoughtful attention to detail. Wherever she lived, she created a home that felt peaceful, calming, and immaculate. She had a natural ability to make spaces warm and welcoming, and she took great pride in making her home a place of comfort for those she loved.

Kelly was known not only for her kindness, but for her resilient spirit. She faced life’s challenges with courage and determination, continually working to rebuild and better herself. Through persistence and pride in her progress, she created a life filled with purpose and meaning. Her strength was deeply admired by those who knew her well.

Kelly found joy in music and dancing, cooking for those she loved, and spending time outdoors. She loved swimming, being near lakes and the Delaware River, and embraced winter adventures like snow tubing. These moments brought her happiness and reflected her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

Kelly dedicated her entire career to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was honored as Home Health Aide of the Year for the State of New Jersey, a recognition that reflected her compassion, work ethic, and commitment to individualized care. In recent years, she worked at Gino Merli, where she was deeply respected and loved by residents and coworkers alike. She worked countless hours of overtime and formed close friendships there, many of which became lifelong bonds. Kelly was known for her reliability, her humor, and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her.

Above all, Kelly shared an extraordinarily close bond with her mother, Barbara Hundertmark, who passed away in 2001. She loved her mother beyond words and carried her with her throughout her life. Kelly often spoke of her hope to be reunited with her mother, and her family finds comfort believing they are together again now, reunited in peace and love, dancing once more.

Kelly is survived by her son, Aaron Schwinof; her daughter, Lindsay Traister; her daughter, Barbara Adelhock; and her four beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Hundertmark, and her brother, Steven Hundertmark.

Kelly will be remembered for her strength, compassion, resilience, and the deep love she gave to her family, friends, coworkers, and the many lives she touched.

A remembrance of Kelly's life will take place on Saturday, February 7th, from 2-3:30pm at Jennings-Calvey Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 111 Colburn Avenue, Clarks Summit, with a funeral service to follow at 3:30pm. A private cremation took place at Jennings-Calvey.
