Kelly Brantley Wrenn, 46, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of 14 years to Charles “Chuck” Wrenn who survives.
Kelly was employed by US Flue-Tobacco Growers. She attended New Life Independent Baptist Church in Hurdle Mills. She enjoyed growing flowers, working in her yard, spending time at Hyco Lake and Bluegrass Music. Kelly loved to sing, drink coffee and spend time with her family. Her greatest joy was being a mother to her children.
She is survived by her mother, Victoria “Vicki” Brantley Hickman of Randleman; her husband, Chuck Wrenn of the home; her sons, Charlie Wrenn and Calip Long both of the home; her daughter, Savannah Shumaker of High Point; her brothers, Shane Brantley and wife, Carie of Mebane and Earl Hickman of Elmore, Alabama; her sisters, Hollie Taylor and husband, Michael of Randleman and Kate Hickman of Opelika, Alabama; her in-laws, Louis and Sonya Wrenn of Hurdle Mills; her great aunt and uncle, John and Linda Allen of Greensboro and lots of nieces and nephews, she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her daddy’s, Joseph “Bo” Brantley and A. Earl Hickman.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at New Life Independent Baptist Church in Hurdle Mills by Pastor Mike Whitt. The burial will follow at Clement Baptist Church Cemetery in Hurdle Mills. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the home.
