Kelsey Nicole Pallas, a beloved daughter, sister, friend, tragically left us on December 18, 2024, at the young age of 28. Born on July 3, 1996, in Gaylord, Kelsey was a bright light whose presence brought joy and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A proud graduate of Gaylord High School’s Class of 2013, Kelsey pursued her passion for beauty by attending cosmetology school, where she honed her skills and creativity. She worked as a bartender, crafting delightful drinks while creating a welcoming atmosphere. Her genuine kindness made it easy for her to form lasting friendships, even with all the challenges she was battling. Kelsey loved skincare, taking care of her body and was always aware of products. She was often found outdoors, delighting in snowboarding during the winter months and hitting the golf course when the sun warmed the skies. Her crafting pursuits showcased her creativity, transforming everyday materials into beautiful keepsakes that shared her love for art and design. Among her greatest joys was her beloved Goldendoodle, Winston, a loyal companion.
The loss of Kelsey has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who knew her. Her unyielding light will continue to shine in the memories of her friends and family, who carry her spirit forward. As we remember Kelsey, let us celebrate the beauty of her life, her generous heart, and the countless moments of joy she brought into our lives. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
She leaves behind her mother, Nicole Kowatch (Michael Sygo) of Gaylord; her father, Matthew Pallas of Alanson; her brother, Brennan (Lindsay) Pallas of Gaylord; grandparents, Jeff Kowatch (Julie Palmatier Snodin) of Grand Rapids, and Margaret (Pete) Pallas of Alanson.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Sherri Kowatch and her uncle, Nathan Kowatch.
