Bristol – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kelvin Jorge Borrero, age 34, on August 6, 2025, in Farmington.

Born on February 24, 1991, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Kelvin was the beloved son of Marisol Matos and the late Jorge Luis Borrero.

Kelvin will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and the unconditional love he shared with his family and friends. He had an extraordinary gift of making everyone around him feel seen and valued. His warmth, humor, and light touched the lives of all who knew him.

Above all, Kelvin’s greatest joy was being a father. He leaves behind his three cherished children: Angelina Borrero, Ezequiel Borrero, and Jeymael Matos. His love for them was boundless, and it will continue to live on in their hearts and memories. Kelvin also leaves behind Naysha Matos, the mother of his two sons, whom he loved deeply and shared a special bond with.

Kelvin is also survived by his three brothers: Gilberto Garcia, Rafael Garcia, and Jorge Luis Borrero, each of whom held a unique and special place in his life. His siblings were a constant source of love, and their shared memories will forever keep him close in spirit.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Dunn Funeral Home, 191 West St., Bristol, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m., with burial immediately after at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.

Though Kelvin’s time with us was far too short, his legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue through his children, his family, and all those he touched with his gentle spirit.
