I had the wonderful opportunity to sail with Ken on the R/V Regina Maris in 1981. Being part of that crew was the highlight of my life. He was a truly amazing person. His love of all the ocean´s residents was contagious.

My condolences.

Ken and my brother Stan Minasian worked on many projects dealing with cetaceans over a 30 year association and close friendship. They collaborated on published books, documentaries and interviews during this time. A true 'giant' and dedicated friend of orcas and marine mammals has passed and hopefully his legacy will live on long after this sad loss.
