Kenneth Eugene Cooperman, age 64, passed away April 22, 2025 in Kansas City, Missouri. Ken was born January 17, 1961 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Ken was a loving husband and father. He married Brenda Corcoran on May 19, 1990 and to this union, two children were born, Lucas and Erika.
Ken was a beloved teacher and coach for thirty-three years.
He was also a devout Christian and a member of Souls Harbor Church.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Cooperman; children, Lucas Cooperman of Nixa, MO; and Erika Cooperman of Kansas City, MO; his grandchild, Walker; siblings, Jeri Lou Cooperman of Sioux City, IA, and Kendra Hanzlik of Cedar Rapids, IA; his Aunt Jackie Layton of Spring Hill, KS; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation for Ken will take place Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Souls Harbor Church in Houston, MO. A memorial service will take place Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Souls Harbor Church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in loving memory of Ken.
