We hold very fond memories of growing up with my younger brother, "Thiru" - known in the United States as Ken Wanar, and born with the traditional name Kanagarajanayagam Nitchinga Thiru Ambalavanar. Though quiet in his ways, he was an astute, thoughtful, and deeply caring person. He fit naturally into our large family, always attentive to the well-being of his parents, siblings, and later, his own family.
He took great pride in the accomplishments of his children, celebrating their successes in both academics and sports with genuine joy. Even in the later stages of his illness, he faced his challenges with remarkable strength and composure.
I am profoundly proud to call him my brother. My heartfelt gratitude goes to his loving wife and children for the care, devotion, and comfort they gave him when he needed it most. He will be remembered with love and affection throughout our lives.
