In Loving Memory of Kendra Rae Howe

December 5, 1977 – January 14, 2026

Kendra Rae Howe lived with a radiant beauty that came from her unstoppable spark, quick mind, and generous heart. She passed away unexpectedly, leaving a glow that will forever light the lives she touched.

Born in 1977, Kendra grew up embracing adventure-active in 4-H, a strong gymnast on horseback earning vaulting awards, and mentoring younger riders while sharing the joy of horses, and riding with her friends on weekends.

As an adult, her passions deepened: nutrition and wellness, personal training, hiking, immersing herself in nature-especially the ocean-and taking her beloved son Gracin to the coast as often as possible. She was a lifelong learner, an avid reader, and a creator of staycations and little coastal vacations that turned ordinary days into magic. Professionally, Kendra shone as a cosmetologist and Manager who trained and inspired others, helping people feel confident and beautiful through her work and personal care. Above all, Kendra was a devoted mother. Her 11-year-old son Gracin was her everyday joy-the center of her world. Everything she did was for him and his bright future.

She is survived by her older and beloved adult son Cody, her mother Terril Howe, her sister Dawn Howe, and a wide circle of loving family (cousins, aunts, uncles) and friends who will miss her deeply. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Howe; paternal grandparents Norman Howe and June Wilhelm; and maternal grandparents Lawton (Buck) Hay and Eleanor Hay.

Though her physical light went out too soon, the glow Kendra left behind still shines-in Gracin's smile, and same bright blue eyes. In ocean waves, on Northern California mountain trails, and in every act of kindness inspired by her example.

Forever young, wild, and free in our memories.

Rest in peace, Kendra. Your light endures.
