We used to call her Granny RIP Beautiful she look just like her mom

I just found out about Kendra and Kendricka deaths I went to elementary school with them both also from the lower 9ward I´ll never forget them especially Kendra smile and Kendricka attitude lol condolences to they fam god bless

I just found out about Kendra's passing. She was a beautiful angel. I was the librarian at Armstrong School. Her smile lit up a room. May God comfort you. I will never forget Kendra.

I looked Kendra Smooth up because of a picture someone had on facebook today. It said rest in peace we love yall. This story is soo sad it brought tears to my eyes. My heart and prayers go out to this family. This could have been me and my family we were in the lower ninth ward on tupelo near Florida Ave and at the last minute decided to leave. She is in a better place now.

My prayers go out to kendra and her family. I was bestfriends with kendra in the 8th-10th grade we went to lawless together and I thought of her as a sister. She made me laugh at the way she talked she alwayz use to tell me"hey my baby where you going". She will be forever missed.

Iris, I am praying that God heals the hurt and pain that came out of this disater. I too lost my mother in the 9th ward flood and I know the hurt that you are going through. My sister I pray your strength and I miss you.

I am hurt to find out that Kendra lost her life in the storm. I have been trying to get in-touch with her since before Katrina. I searched all over the internet until I found out today that she passed. I really will miss this girl. I wish I could have talked to her or get to hug her one last time. My prayers are w/ the family.

Iris, I don't know where to begin. I am so sorry for your loss. You know I looked at everyone of the smooth children as being my neices and nephews and was glad for them to call me auntee Queaky. I love you all and you know if you need me all you have to do is call me 713-429-9744. I may be far away but you know if I can do anything at a distance I will always find a way. Again I am sorry to see Kendra so precious lose her life and all of her dreams. Love always

My heart hurts to know my baby Kendra is no longer with us. You know I told you when she was in my class that she was my child, so I'm feeling pain behind this also. My sincere prayers go out to you and the entire Smooth Family. May God Continue to hold you in his hands as you try to move on in life.
